Who We Actually Are

Started in 2019 when three mates realized Australians needed straightforward money advice without the corporate jargon. We've helped over 2,000 people understand their finances since then—and we're still learning alongside them.

How It All Began

Back in early 2019, I was sitting in a café with Lachlan and Sophie. We'd just finished helping a friend sort out her chaotic spending habits—again. She'd walked away relieved, and we realized something obvious: most people don't need fancy investment portfolios. They need someone to help them stop feeling guilty every time they check their bank balance.

So we started elunoravix in Port Macquarie. No flashy office or big marketing budget. Just practical workshops teaching people how to track expenses without spreadsheet nightmares and build savings that actually stick around past February.

Six years later, we're still doing exactly that. Our approach hasn't changed much because it works—understand where your money goes, make small shifts that don't feel like punishment, and build habits you can maintain for years.

Finding Your Starting Point

Everyone's money situation looks different. We've organized our guidance based on what people actually struggle with—pick what sounds familiar and we'll point you toward resources that fit.

1

Never Tracked Spending Before

You know money disappears but aren't quite sure where. Our beginner workshops start September 2025, teaching simple tracking methods that take less than 10 minutes weekly. No judgment, no complicated apps—just clarity.

2

Earn Decent Income, Still Broke

This happens more often than you'd think. We'll help you spot the lifestyle creep patterns and identify which expenses genuinely matter versus which ones you've just gotten used to paying. October 2025 sessions focus specifically on this.

3

Tried Budgets, Always Quit

Traditional budgeting feels restrictive—we get it. Our approach focuses on spending awareness rather than rigid limits. Learn flexible frameworks that adapt when life throws curveballs. Programs resume March 2026.

4

Ready to Build Emergency Fund

You've got the basics sorted and want to create financial cushion. We'll show you realistic saving targets based on your actual income and expenses, plus strategies to automate the process so you don't have to think about it.

Still Not Sure Where You Fit?

Send us a quick message describing your situation. We'll reply within two business days with honest guidance—even if that means pointing you toward free resources instead of our paid programs.

What Makes Our Approach Different

Participant reviewing simplified budget template on tablet

No Shame, No Pretending

We've all bought things we regret or ignored bills until the last minute. Our workshops acknowledge that reality instead of pretending everyone's perfectly rational with money. You'll hear real stories from other participants who've struggled with similar patterns—and actually fixed them.

Systems That Actually Stick

Most budgeting advice falls apart when your car needs repairs or your mate's wedding pops up. We teach flexible frameworks that handle irregular expenses and unexpected costs without making you feel like you've failed. The goal isn't perfection—it's building awareness that lasts.

Group discussion during hands-on budgeting workshop

Small Groups, Real Conversations

We cap workshops at 12 people because meaningful learning happens through discussion, not lectures. You'll work through your actual budget during sessions—not hypothetical examples—and get feedback from both instructors and peers dealing with similar challenges.

Follow-up support materials and progress tracking tools

Support Beyond the Workshop

Learning doesn't stop when the session ends. All participants get three months of email support for questions that come up while implementing changes. Plus access to our monthly check-in calls where you can troubleshoot problems and share what's working.

Sophie Kildare

Co-Founder & Lead Instructor

I spent five years working in retail banking before realizing I was better at helping people understand their money than selling them products they didn't need. These days I run most of our beginner workshops and handle the tricky conversations when someone's avoiding looking at their debt situation.

Outside of elunoravix, you'll find me attempting to grow vegetables that actually survive Port Macquarie's weather and convincing my partner that we don't need another rescue dog (we probably do).

My specialty is working with people who feel embarrassed about their financial situation. Trust me—I've heard it all, and nothing shocks me anymore. If you're nervous about joining a workshop, send me an email first and we'll chat through what to expect.
